FAQ’s
How long is the tour?
Approximately two hours from gear up to completion. There are options to shorten your tour if you decide you’ve had enough adventure!
If we’re not participating can we watch from the ground?
Yes! Well, you can see most of it. The majority of our tour crosses over paths that are easy to follow, but the last third of the tour will take the group up high along a ridge where they will be out of sight. If adventuring on course isn't for you, a good way to get out of it is to volunteer as "group photographer!”
Can we bring our pets?
As much as we adore creatures of every color, size and bark volume - we do not allow animals on site. This is for their own safety as well as the comfort of all guests.
Is it safe?
The construction and operation of our course meets or surpasses the Association for Challenge Course Technology’s (ACCT) standards. Our course was designed and installed by Synergo; a Professional Vendor Member (PVM) of ACCT. Synergo also provides the training for our guides and completes our annual course inspections. Daily inspections of the course and all equipment are done by the guides. If you'd like to learn more about our training and inspection processes, please feel free to give us a call to chat! We'd love to answer any of your questions!
How many people are in each tour group?
Tour groups consist of a maximum of 14 guests and two guides. If you have a larger group contact us to make arrangements.
Do your run tours in the rain?
If we didn’t we’d never run tours! Our course is located in a rainforest, so come prepared to adventure rain or shine. If there is lightning or high winds, we will need to suspend and potentially cancel your tour but we will not cancel due to rain. If your tour is canceled due to weather, we are happy to offer you a refund.
How high off the ground will I be?
Between 8 and 50 feet; Our tour is designed to slowly ease people into the experience with each course trail getting gradually higher and more physically challenging.
What if I get scared half-way through, can I get down?
Not a problem at all! If you get scared half-way through the tour and can not continue, we have both exit ladders/stairs and a system to lower you from any platform. You will never be stuck!
We prefer to prevent anyone from getting to a point that they're so scared, they can not continue though. This means you've stepped too far outside of your comfort zone that you may do emotional harm. We want to make sure everyone is taken care of in their own way and that means we never want anyone to push themselves further than what is healthy. Everyone has different limits and different fears.
